We are excited to announce the start of our new talk series on "Grassroots Movements and Civil Society", with an online event on “Social and Grassroots Movements: Towards a Common Understanding”. Prof. Dr. Mario Diani and Niklas Haarbusch will share their expertise, engage in discussion and answer our questions.
Prof. Dr. Mario Diani is a professor of Sociology at the University of Trento, Italy, with a background in research on social movements and social innovation, as well as their development and impact. With this perspective, he can ideally provide us with insights into the characterisation, development and impact of (grassroots) movements.
Niklas Haarbusch is currently researching the climate movement in the context of his PhD thesis at the University of Münster. He focuses on the political socialization of climate activists and has previously published on the formation of civil society engagement.
The talk will take place on Friday, November 26th at 18.00 (s.t.) on Zoom.
Prior registration for the panel discussion is necessary and should be done HERE.
We will send you a link via e-mail to get into the virtual conference a few hours before it starts.
We hope to see you soon!
